Tips for booking a Stratton holiday
- Expect minimum stays of 3 to 7 nights over Christmas and New Year’s.
- Large groups: homes for 12 or more are the first to go. See large-group rentals.
- Booking direct with the owner usually avoids Airbnb’s and Vrbo’s service fees, which add up on a holiday-week rate. See book direct vs Airbnb and Vrbo.
- If your dates are flexible, the days just after New Year’s and the week after Presidents’ Week are usually easier to find.
